“Skeletonized Dress Watch” Breguet, Ref. 1872. Made in the 1980s. Very fine, thin, 18K yellow gold, skeletonized, keyless dress watch with a yellow gold oblong-link chain. Three-body, polished bezels, coin-edge band, winding crown set with a black onyx cabochon, glazed back. Brushed silver, annular, radial painted black Roman numerals. Blued steel “Breguet” hands. Skeletonized, hand engraved on both sides with flowers and scrolls, 18 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating blues steel Breguet balance spring, escape and balance wheels with shock absorbers, index regulator. Dial and case signed. Diam. 50 mm.
