Cylindrical brass with panels and domed top, entirely polychrome cloisonné enameled with scenes of horses galloping, the solar cells on top of the dome, case raised on 3 ribbed feet. Brushed gilt with chapter ring with 180 radial Roman numerals and Calatrava cross indexes, white mask with applied enamelled spandrels. Pierced black and gilt hands. Cal. 17’’’, solar-powered by photoelectric cell with lithium battery back-up, driving a remontoir train, winding the barrel spring, 29 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, Gyromax balance, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, “swan-neck” micrometer regulator.
