“Art Deco” Movado, Ref. 3838. Made in the 1950s. Fine, rare and unusual, rectangular curved, 18K yellow and white gold gentleman's wristwatch with an 18K yellow gold clasp on a brown cord. To be sold without reserve Two-body, solid, polished, stepped bezel, rounded sides, straight lugs. Two-tone silver with applied yellow gold Breguet numerals. Yellow gold "épée" hands. Cal. 105, rhodium-plated, 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel flat balance spring. Dial and movement signed, case numbered. Dim. 26 x 44 mm. Thickness 6 mm.
