Frédérique Constant ”Heart Beat Zerodur”, Pièce Unique. Notes Frédérique Constant Genève is an independent, family-owned watch company founded in 1988 by Peter and Aletta Stas. Frédérique Constant manufactures "Geneva precision watches with a contemporary classic design reflecting a passionate drive to succeed". The company has had a consistent average growth rate of 25-30% over the last twelve years, and recently inaugurated its brand new Manufacture in Plan-les-Ouates, Geneva. In 2004, Frédérique Constant unveiled its first manufacture calibre, with its signature "Open Heart" (visible escapement) at six o'clock. The HBM Heart Beat Manufacture calibre is a completely new movement with a number of specific patented features. Its "Heart Beat" aperture is perfectly centred at six o'clock, with the fine regulation at the side of the dial, creating a technically new, appealing and robust calibre design. In 2005, Frédérique Constant introduced the Heart Beat Manufacture with moon phase and date, and in 2006, the first automatic versions were presented.
