Hinged gold cuvette with engraved list of dates. White enamel with Arabic numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds dial. Blued steel “Breguet” hands. 42 mm., Cal. 18’’’, frosted gilt, stamped twice with the Seal of Geneva Quality Mark,18 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with temperature and meantime adjustment screws, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial, cuvette and movement signed. Diam. 50 mm. Notes Seal of Geneva Quality Mark. a trademark of the Office of Geneva Control of Watches, was first established on November 6, 1886, to control watches made in the Canton of Geneva. Watches awarded the Seal of Geneva Quality Mark must "after examination prove to have a perfect mechanism to ensure regular and durable functioning". Adrien Rigacci made only three movements under his own name at the Ecole d’Horlogerie. Only one of them - the present watch - was cased. For the remainder of his career, Rigacci worked at Patek Philippe.
