Fine, center-seconds, waterproof, asymmetric rectangular, stainless steel wristwatch electronic wristwatch with date and a stainless steel Omega buckle. Two-body, asymmetric sloping, polished and brushed, case back with 4 screws, hooded lugs, crown at 9. Brushed blue with white baton indexes, applied logo on red enamel on the 12, aperture for the date at 6, applied silver Omega symbol on red medallion at 12. Luminous "baton" hands. Cal. 1300, Beta 21, copper-colored, 13 jewels, diapason tuning fork for swinging element, frequency of 8192 Hz. Dial, case and movement signed. Dim. 36 x 45 mm. Thickness 14 mm. Notes Ref. BA 196.005 was launched in 1970. The winding crown was placed at 9 because the watch never requires winding; the movement was so accurate that adjustment was required only when changing time zones, or at the end of the month.
