“California Dial” Rolex, “Oyster Perpetual, Chronomètre”, "Rigid Hooded", Ref. 3065. Made in the early 1940s. Fine and rare, tonneau-shaped, center seconds, self-winding, water-resistant, yellow gold wristwatch with an expanding riveted yellow gold Oyster bracelet. Three-body, polished and brushed, screwed-down case back and crown, hooded lugs. Black with applied luminous Roman numerals in the upper half and Arabic numerals on the lower half, dart and baton indexes for the quarters. Luminous yellow gold skeleton hands.
