Silver Deck Chronometer Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, “Chronomètre”, No. 438768, case No. 272942. Made in 1942. Fine and rare, large, silver, keyless deck and pocket chronometer. Accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity. Four-body, “bassine”, polished. Hinged cuvette. White enamel, bold upright Arabic numerals, outer minute track, large subsidiary seconds. Blued steel spade hands. Notes The present watch is one of a series of 150 pocket lever chronometers made by Vacheron & Constantin in the 1940s.
