Ref. 5030, “Red & Black Date” Rolex, “Oyster Perpetual, Officially Certified Chronometer”, Ref. 5030, case No. 658577. Made in 1949. Fine and very rare, tonneau-shaped, centre-seconds, selfwinding, water-resistant, 18K yellow gold wristwatch with date and an 18K yellow gold Jubilee bracelet with deployant clasp. Two-body, polished and brushed, inclined bezel, screweddown case back and crown, concave lugs. Matte beige with applied yellow gold dart and faceted baton indexes, outer minutes and fifths of a second divisions, Arabic five-second numerals, aperture for the date with alternating black and red numerals. Yellow gold alpha hands.
