Writing Desk Set Léon Hatot, Fabricants, Paris, (ATO), "Electrique", No. 36342. Made circa 1927. Fine and rare, Art Deco burr walnut with inlaid brass mantel clock with inkwells and pen rest. Rectangular, burr walnut the desk set and clock case inlaid with brass stringing, two glass inkwells in brass surrounds, four gilt brass bun feet. Silver brass with Arabic numerals, outer minute divisions, the center with stylised leaves. Blued steel épée hands. Brass, electromagnetic pendulum, battery contacts. Dial and movement signed.
