Property of Various Owners Notes Patek Philippe "Les Impériales" Lapel Watches Ref. 4760, 4761, 4762 Worn traditionally on the lapel of a lady's finest dress, this type of watch lost its popularity when Patek Philippe introduced the first ladies' wristwatch in 1868. To commemorate its 150th anniversary, Patek Philippe decided to bring back the lapel watch. The delicate silhouette of the "Impériales" is a charming voyage back to the drawing room of the 19th century. The case is similar to that of the "Officier", but with a quartz movement and Louis XV winding crown. The limited edition was produced as follows: 50 pieces in 18K yellow gold with a leather bow 50 pieces in 18K yellow gold with a velvet bow 50 pieces in 18K yellow gold with a suede bow The watches all feature a white dial, Breguet numerals and Breguet hands.
