Very fine and rare, water-resistant, self winding, center seconds, 18K white gold gentleman's wristwatch with an 18K white gold Roger Dubuis buckle. Accompanied by a fitted box and certificate of origin, the Bulletin de Marche of the Observatoire National de Besançon and an additional 18K white gold case back. Two-body, solid, polished and brushed, concave bezel and lugs, transparent screwed-down case back with “RD” monogram, sapphire crystals. Silver with mirror-polished Arabic numerals and applied white gold darts indexes, inner minute track, outer seconds tracks. Blued steel “alpha” hands. Cal. RD 57, stamped with the Geneva Quality Hallmark, rhodiumplated, "fausses-côtes" decoration, 25 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance 5 adjustments, shock absorber, swan-neck micrometer adjustment, self-compensating flat balance-spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 40 mm. Thickness 9 mm.
