“Electronic Marine Chronometer” Breguet, No. 427. Made circa 1990. Fine, mahogany, brass-bound deck chronometer with center seconds and electronically powered remontoire. Three-tier polished mahogany box with brass banding and hinged handles, applied brushed brass plaque to the middle section for the signature and number, gimballed brass bowl with locking bar, knurled bezel and bevelled crystal. White with painted black radial Roman numerals, outer minute track. Blued steel “spade” hands. 42 mm., frosted gilt brass plates, battery powered remontoire, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, blued steel flat balance spring, shock absorber, screw micrometer regulator, stop lever at the side. Dial and case signed. Dim. 150 x 144 x 148 mm.
