Ref. 6284 “Fantasie” Rolex, “Oyster Perpetual, Officially Certified Chronometer”, Ref. 6284. Made in 1953. Fine center-seconds, self-winding, water-resistant, stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch with “fantasie” bezel. Three-body, solid, polished and brushed, screwed-down case back and crown, 12 facet bezel. Silver with etched dart indexes and Arabic quarters, outer minute/seconds divisions, luminous dots. Luminous steel hands. Cal. 645, rhodium plated, 18 jewels, straight line lever escapement, Superbalance adjusted to 6 positions, shock-absorber, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring.
