Very fine and unusual, tonneau-shaped, water-resistant, stainless steel driver`s wristwatch with single button chronograph and a stainless steel Omega bracelet à petites mailles, with deployant clasp. Accompanied by original fitted box, guarantee, instructionmanual, advertising, and outer packaging. This watch is sold with a Certificate of Authenticity and 2-year Omega guarantee. Property of a Swiss Gentleman Two-body, solid, polished and brushed, half hooded lugs, push-button at 2 o’clock for start, stop (continued press to read time) and return-to-zero function, winding crown at 4 o’clock. Matte gray with applied faceted and polished steel baton indexes with luminous dots, outer minute/seconds and 1/5th second divisions. Luminous black and white “baton” hands, orange hand for the chronograph. Cal. 865, copper-colored, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, self-compensating flat balance spring, micrometric regulator. Case, dial and movement signed. Dim 35 x 39 mm. Thickness 11.5 mm. Notes Ref. ST 145.010 launched in 1968, was intended for use by drivers. The bezel has been positioned so that the 12 is at the usual 3 o’clock position, as the watch as intended to be worn on the inside of the wrist. The bracelet has a large deployant clasp, which advertising of the period suggested for use as an ID bracelet.
