Fine and unusual, cushion-shaped, center seconds, water-resistant, sterling silver wristwatch with a gold-filled link bracelet. Three-body, solid, polished, screwed-down case back and crown, case back engraved inside with patent numbers, fluted bezel, wire lugs Matte silver with applied yellow gold Arabic numerals, outer minute/seconds track. Blued steel “Cathedral” hands. Notes Released in 1926, the Rolex Oyster was the first practical water-resistant wristwatch and defined Rolex as a pioneer of fine sports watches
