Movado "Curviplan," case No. 519262, Ref. 41824. Made in the 1940’s. Very fine and unusual, rectangular curved, 18K yellow gold wristwatch. Two-body, solid, polished, lapidated sides. Matte silver with applied yellow gold Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds dial. Yellow gold epee hands. Cal. 510, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Dim. 23 x 47 mm. Thickness 7 mm.
