Chinese, 20th century, possibly earlier. Pair of Chinese export porcelain pots or jardinieres with ribbon accented antiques, stylized clouds, flowers, and fish on yellow ground. Rim at top with four red/pink flowers and leaves on white ground. Unmarked. Height 14.4", diameter of top 16". Provenance: Sotheby's New York: Important English Furniture & Ceramics, October 22, 1999 as Lot 375 whereby acquired by Mrs. Dorothy Edwards, Atlanta, Georgia.
