Tank Cartier, Paris, “Tank,” case No. 780863470. Made in the 1980’s. Fine and elegant, rectangular, thin, 18K yellow gold wristwatch. Two-body, solid, polished and brushed, straight lugs, rounded bezel, cabochon sapphire-set winding-crown, case back with 4 screws in the band. Off-white with painted black radial Roman numerals, inner minute track. Blued epée hands. Cal. 2512, rhodium plated, fausses cotes decoration, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, self-compensating flat balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed . Dim. 23 x 30 mm. Thickness 6 mm.
