Four-body, polished, graduated and bidirectional revolving bezel for the decompression times, screwed-down case back, antimagnetic protection shield. Black with luminous Arabic quarters and baton indexes. Luminous white baton hands. Cal. AS 1361N, rhodium-plated, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, self-compensating flat balance spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Notes In 1953, Blancpain launched the diving watch Fifty Fathoms, which was water-resistant to 200 meters. It was worn by the famous oceanographer Jacques-Yves Cousteau and his team during the filming of the documentary "Le Monde du Silence", which was awarded the Palme d'Or at the 1956 Cannes Festival. The watch became an instant classic.
