Ref. 3139 Rolex "Oyster Chronometer, Observatory," Ref. 3139. Made in the early 1940’s. Fine and very rare, cushion-shaped, water-resistant stainless steel wristwatch. Two-body, polished and brushed, screwed-down dedicated case back and crown. Matte silver with luminous Arabic numerals, outer minute track, concentric 24-hour graduation in red Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds dial. Luminous blued steel baton hands.
