A monumental Chinese carved temple landscape scene depicting five immortals or humans set amongst trees, mountains, and architecture punctuated with monkey and deer that are holding sacred coins and objects. The five human figures are decorated with black paint to highlight the intricate carving on their clothing and bodies. Sculpture sits within a wooden boat form carved with cloud scrolls which also displays on front a carved plaque with red Chinese calligraphic marks. 25.5" tall x 22.5" wide x 8" deep.
