Fine and very rare, 8-day going, gilt brass and leather desk clock with pivoted clock, probably designed by Paul Dupré-Lafon. Three-body, circular compressed leather, pivoted chromed central housing with domed hinged back cover to access winding and hand-setting. Matte sand-colored with painted hour indexes and Arabic quarter-hour numerals. Blued steel baton hands. Cal. 19’’’, rhodium-plated, 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial and case signed Hermès, movement signed Pontifa- Audoine. Diam. 13.7 cm. Height 5.3 cm.
