Very fine, very rare and unusual, 18K yellow gold "Mystery" wristwatch with a special crystal plate, visible one-minute tourbillon regulator movement and an 18K yellow gold Corum deployant clasp. Accompanied by the original Corum fitted box. Transparent. Yellow gold baton hands. Cal. CLA 97 with the movement plates and bridges entirely made from sapphire crystal, 9 jewels, lateral lever escapement with visible one-minute tourbillon regulator with polished steel cage, monometallic balance, self-compensating flat balance spring. Movement signed "C. Claret" and "Corum", case numbered "No. 7" at the side. Diam. 36 mm. Thickness 9 mm. Notes Property of a German Collector Tourbillon La Mystérieuse Was produced in a limited series of watches in 18K gold, with a very few examples made in platinum upon request only. The highly unusual movement was produced by Cristophe Claret for Corum and is remarkable not only for its mysteriously invisible winding mechanism, but also for being entirely made from sapphire crystal
