Extremely fine and very rare, rectangular curved, 18K yellow gold wristwatch with a gold dial and an integral 18K yellow gold Patek Philippe bracelet signed by Gay Frères. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives. Two-body, rectangular curved, solid, polished, curved crystal, snap-on case back. Gold decorated with applied yellow gold baton indexes, subsidiary guilloche dial for the seconds. Yellow gold baton hands. Notes Ref. 2554 Production of this reference started in 1952. This model inspired Patek Philippe to produce their famous new 10-day wristwatch, Ref. 5100, in 2000.
