Very fine, gilt brass, eight-day going, grande and petite sonnerie striking and repeating carriage clock with subsidiary seconds, alarm and dual calendar. Accompanied by the original fitted travelling box. To be sold without reserve Multi-piece, “gorge”, molded top and base, the sides and top glazed with bevelled glass, hinged carrying handle. Circular white enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and inner eccentric subsidiary seconds, subsidiary dials for alarm setting, days of the week and date, matte gilt dial mask. Blued steel Breguet hands. Brass, rectangular with going barrels both on the going and the striking train, platform escapement with straight line moustache lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, striking, repeating and alarm on two gongs with button on the top and grande sonnerie/petite sonnerie/silent optional lever on the base, further barrel for the alarm train.
