Awarded the second prize at the Geneva Astronomical Observatory timing contest 1908. Accompanied by a fitted mahogany deck box, outer mahogany box, original Patek Philippe receipt and two Kew “Class A” rating certificates, and Second Prize certificate. Matte silver with radial champleve Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds and sector for the 36-hour power-reserve below 12. Blued steel spade hands. 21’’’, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 18 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, counterpoised straight-Iine lever escapement, anibal-brass Guillaume balance with gold screws, eight adjustments by C.
