Fine and rare, water-resistant, stainless steel wristwatch with round button chronograph, registers and tachometer, and a later Omega steel buckle. Accompanied by a modern Omega box. To be sold without reserve Three-body, polished and brushed, screwed-down case back with engraved with the Seahorse medallion, tachometer graduation on the black bezel to 500 UPH, straight lugs, antimagnetic dust cap. Black with luminous baton indexes, outer minute and 1/5th second divisions, subsidiary dials for the seconds, 12-hour and 30-minute registers. Luminous white baton hands. Cal. 321, copper colored, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance with timing screws, shock absorber, self-compensating blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 39 mm. Thickness 14 mm. Notes This reference is called “Ed White” by the Speedmaster collectors because this is the Speedmaster reference that was used during the first EVA (Extra Vehicular Activity), or Space Walk, made by the astronaut Ed White during the Gemini 4 mission on June 3, 1965.
