Small Steel Single- Button Chronograph CAR, Swiss. Made in the 1930s. Fine and very unusual, mid-size stainless steel wristwatch with single-button chronograph, tachometer and telemeter. To be sold without reserve Three-body, solid, polished and brushed, rotating bezel, large mobile lugs, sliding button between 1 and 2 for the start/stop and return-to-zero functions of the chronograph. Matte silver with painted black Arabic numerals, outer tachometer scale, minutes and fifths of a second divisions, outermost orange seconds divisions and numerals on an off-white reserve rotating with the bezel, inner red telemeter scale, subsidiary seconds. Blue steel baton hands. Cal. 10 1/2’’’, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, selfcompensating flat balance spring, index regulator. Dial signed.
