Accompanied by the original Patek Philippe box and original hang tag. Property of Various Owners Two-body, polished and brushed, sapphire crystal. Anthracite with horizontal stripes, applied luminous yellow gold baton indexes, outer minute division aperture for the date. Luminous yellow gold baton hands. Cal. 28-255 C, stamped with the Seal of Geneva Quality Mark, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 36 jewels, straight line lever escapement, Gyromax balance adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, shock absorber, self-compensating flat balance spring, 21K gold rotor segment. Dial, case and movement signed. Dim. 42 x 44 mm. Thickness 7.5 mm. Approx. overall length 190 mm. Notes Patek Philippe’s answer to the Audemars Piguet Jumbo Royal Oak was the Nautilus. Similar in its dimensions, it also features a self-winding mechanism with date caliber 28-255C. Like the Royal Oak, this model became an instant classic and still remains timeless 30 years later.
