Minute Repeater & Chronograph B. Poitevin, Fabt, movement No. 45677, case No. 38941, retailed by S. Fernandez Y cia Importadores, Buenos-Aries. Made for Ramon Gutierrez, circa 1900. Very fine and rare, heavy and large, minute-repeating, 18K yellow gold, hunting-cased, keyless pocket watch with chronograph. Four body, massive, "bassine", polished, the front cover decorated with an applied gold monogram. Hinged gold cuvette. White enamel with Breguet numerals, outer minute track and outermost fifths of a second divisions with red painted Arabic five minute numerals, subsidiary seconds with red numerals. Gold Louis XV hands.
