Very fine, eight day going, hour and half-hour striking, carriage clock designed in the manner of an early 19th century Pendule d'Officier with the original gold-tooled morocco travelling case. Convex, white enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer black dot minute divisions, gilt dot five-minute divisions, outermost Arabic five-minute numerals. Gilt brass pierced hands. 78 mm., circular brass, with going barrels for both trains, platform lateral lever escapement with cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, striking the hours and half-hours on a coiled gong. Dial, case and movement signed. Dim. 21.5 x 13.5 x 10 mm.
