Very fine and rare, 18K pink gold wristwatch with a 14K pink gold link bracelet. Accompanied by a Tiffany & Co., New York box and the Extract from the Archives. Three-body, solid, polished and brushed, flat bezel, concave lugs, snap-on case back engraved “Frank S. Washburn”. Rose with applied pink gold Breguet numerals, outer dot minute divisions, subsidiary seconds. Yellow gold poire hands. Notes The Extract from the Archives confirms the rose dial and the Breguet numerals. Provenance: Frank S. Washburn (1895-1967), an executive of the American Cyanamid Company and the son of company's founder. Mayor of Larchmont, 1945-6. His hobby was horse-breeding and he sold one of his best “Diablos” to Teddy Roosevelt.
