Fine and rare, silver and gold, lapis lazuli, coral, agate, pearl and rose-cut diamond-set, 8-day going mystery clock. Rectangular, silver, the front set with four cabochon lapis in yellow gold collets, stepped top surmounted by a lapis elephant with diamond-set eyes, raised on 12 lapis and coral beads, to the side a polished natural coral branch mounted with pearls and raised on a lapis and round diamond-set stepped silver base, rectangular agate base with silver feet, the center front mounted with a carved coral flower spray. Silver engine-turned with a radial pattern, applied diamond-set Roman quarter-hour numerals, revolving center for the hour hand, minute hand mounted on a revolving glass disc. Rose-cut diamond-set fleur-de-lys hands. 45 x 37 mm., gilt brass, four pillars, lateral lever escapement on a platform, plain three-arm balance, flat balance spring, index regulator. Dim. 11.8 x 10.4 x 4.7 cm.
