Ref. 1463, Stainless Steel Patek Philippe & Co., Genève, No. 862997, case No. 625762, Ref. 1463. Made in 1942, sold on July 19th, 1944. Very fine and extremely rare, water-resistant, stainless steel wristwatch with round button chronograph, 30-minute register, tachometer and a Patek Philippe stainless steel buckle. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives. Two-body, solid, polished and brushed, inclined stepped bezel, concave lugs, screwed-down case back, inner dust protection cap. Matte silver with applied polished steel indexes and Arabic half-hour numerals, subsidiary seconds and 30-minute register dials, outer minute and seconds track with Arabic five-second numerals, outermost tachometer graduation. Stainless steel feuille hands. Notes Ref. 1463 Production of this reference started in 1940. Only a few examples were made in stainless steel.
