Very fine and rare, large, stainless steel wristwatch with square button fly-back chronograph, instantaneous 30-minute register, telemeter, tachometer and a stainless steel Longines buckle. Three-body, polished and brushed, inclined bezel, concave lugs, snap-on case back. Satiné silver with applied steel baton indexes, subsidiary dials for the 30-minute register and for the seconds, outer telemeter scale in red, outermost tachometer scale in blue. Steel baton hands. Cal. 30CH, rhodium-plated, 18 jewels, straight line lever escapement, Glucydur balance, selfcompensating blued Breguet balance spring, shock absorber, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 38 mm. Thickness 12 mm. Notes Caliber 30CH: Made in 1947, 13 ¼ ‘’’ with 18.000 bhp. It was developed between 1944 and 1947 to replace the former Longines caliber, 13ZN, due to its expensive production costs. It is the last wristwatch chronograph caliber made by Longines in Saint Imier
