Bubble-Back Rolex, “Oyster Perpetual, Chronometre”, case No. 46972. Made in 1946. Fine and rare, self-winding, water-resistant, tonneau-shaped, 9K yellow gold wristwatch. Three-body, solid, polished and brushed, inclined bezel, half-hooded lugs, screwed-down case back and crown. Silver with painted yellow gold baton indexes and Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds. Yellow gold baton hands. 9 3/4’’’, rhodium plated, straight line lever escapement, Superbalance, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 32 mm. Thickness 13 mm.
