Inking Chronograph with Original Ink Bottle Patek Philippe & Co. , Geneve, No. 86901, case No. 212406. Made in 1891, sold on September 17, 1909. Fine and very rare, silver, keyless inking chronograph with progressive 60-minute register. Accompanied by the original Patek Philippe fitted box, original ink bottle, ink pin and Extract from the Archives. To be sold without reserve Three-body, "bassine et filets", polished, the back engraved with foliate initials "W.L.", start/stop and return-to-zero functions activated by at button in the band at 1 o’clock, button in the crown for jumping the inking needle. White enamel with radial Arabic 10-second numerals, outer fifths of a second divisions, subsidiary 60-minute register. Blued steel patent inking hand. Notes This inking chronograph is identical to No. 86902, sold by Antiquorum, Geneva, October 19, 1997, lot No. 518.This series was made by Patek Philippe 15 years after the first one; it was developed from a special calibre movement.
