Minute Repeating Swiss, No. 31908. Made for the American market, circa 1890. Fine, large, minute-repeating, 18K yellow gold, hunting-cased, keyless pocket watch. Four-body, “bassine et filets” engine-turned in a striped and zig-zag pattern with polished borders. Hinged gold cuvette engraved “M. Goldsmith, New York”, glazed gold-rimmed cover to view the movement. Notes The movement of this watch is probably made by LeCoultre & Co.
