Fine and rare, gilt brass, “Ellipse d’Or” solarpowered electric mantel clock. Accompanied by the original fitted box, guarantee (now void) and instructions. Gilt brass, rectangular with curved tambour ends, brushed and polished, polished oval bezel, hinged back door, solar panel set in the top. Oval, royal blue, applied faceted gilt brass baton indexes. Gilt brass baton hands. 92 mm. circuit board with transistors connected to the photo-electric cell, battery back-up power, buttons for stop/test/frequency. Dial and movement signed. Dim. 20 x 18 x 7.1 cm.
