Fine and rare, antimagnetic, water-resistant, lightning hand center seconds, self-winding, stainless steel wristwatch with black/ brown honeycomb dial and a stainless steel Rolex USA expanding-link Oyster bracelet. Three-body, polished and brushed, screw-down case back and Oyster crown, graduated bidirectional revolving black bezel, inner anti-magnetic soft iron protection cap. Black soft iron flinqué honeycomb with luminous round indexes and faceted steel triangular indexes. Steel dauphine hands, lightning flash seconds hand. Cal. 1080, rhodium-plated, 25 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to 5 positions and temperature, shock absorber, self-compensating free-sprung Breguet balance spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 38 mm. Thickness 13 mm. Notes Prior to consigning the present watch for sale, the owner sent the watch to be overhauled by an independent service center in London at which point the luminous was applied and the hands were replaced with after market hands.
