The only known and undoubtedly unique, previously unrecorded, Ref. 2419 Patek Philippe minute repeating wristwatch retailed by Cartier Patek Philippe, Genève, Ref. 2419. No. 861078, case No. 646625, Cartier stock number 7026. Made in 1946, sold on April 21st, 1950. Exceptionally fine and unique, 18K gold, minute-repeating wristwatch with an 18k gold Patek Philippe buckle. Accompanied by an Extract from the Archives. Three-body, solid, polished and brushed, prominent sculpted lugs, concave bezel, case back with US import stamp 18k, further stamped to the underside of the upper left shoulder 7026, oversize 7mm diameter gold winding crown, extended two-piece gold repeat slide to the band. Silvered with applied gold faceted index markers hand painted black, outer minute track, oversized subsidiary seconds. Gold feuille hands hand-painted black. Cal. 12’’’, rhodium-plated, first quality (probably ébauche Victorin Piguet), fausses cotes decoration, 29 jewels, wolf’s tooth winding, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, blued steel overcoil balance spring, "whiplash" regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Dial, case and movement signed. Dim. 34 mm, lug width 20 mm, depth 10.5 mm.
