Verger Gold & Blue Enamel Pendant Watch Ferdinand Verger, No. 61906, made circa 1910 for Spaulding & Co. Fine and elegant, 18K gold and enamel lady’s keyless pendant watch. Three-body, the bezel with engraved decoration, the back cover overlaid with translucent blue enamel over guilloche, gold engraved border with white enamel borders. Silvered with Arabic numerals, outer minute divisions. Blue steel Breguet hands. 10’’’, 18 jewels, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Diam. 28 mm. Notes Ferdinand Verger (1851-1928) was a jeweler and watchmaker who became the French agent for Vacheron & Constantin in 1879. Also the president of the “Chambre Syndicale des Bijoutiers,” he registered the trademark “FV” in 1896. In 1911 the firm moved to 51 rue Sainte Anne under the name of Verger Frères, with the trademark “VF”.
