Griffe de Tigre – Gold , Diamond and Ruby Pendant Watch Probably Paris. Made circa 1910. Very fine, exotic and elegant, yellow gold, tiger’s claw, diamond and ruby-set pendant set with a keyless watch. To be sold without reserve Tiger’s claw body, the watch movement concealed within, chased sculptural gold mount decorated with leaves in relief, surmounted by a threedimensional gold tiger and with a skull and crossbones suspension set with a rose-cut diamond, the tip of the claw encircled by a gold snake with a larger marquise old-cut diamond-set head and ruby eyes, ruby-set bezel. White enamel with Arabic numerals, outer minute divisions. Gilt spade hands. 11’’’, gilt, straight-line lever escapement, three-arm brass balance, flat balance spring, index regulator. Dim. 67 x 32 mm. overall.
