Leroy Art Deco Desk Compendium L. Leroy & Cie, Paris, No. 31859. Made circa 1925. Fine and elegant, Art Deco, burr walnut and gilt-brass, 8-day going desk clock with barometer and thermometer. To be sold without reserve Rectangular, burr walnut with gilt brass bezels, Art Deco gilt-brass base with burr walnut fillets and feet. Matte silvered with painted radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, barometer dial to the right, the mercury thermometer with engraved scale on a silvered plate. Blued steel baton hands. Rhodium plated, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, self-compensating flat balance spring, index regulator. Dial signed. Dim. 25.5 x 9.5 x 10.5 cm.
