Very fine and extremely rare, silver 24-hour pocket watch with double 12-hour numerals for “Heures du Jour” and “Heures du Soir”. Three-body, forme quattre baguettes, polished. Hinged gilt metal cuvette. White enamel with Breguet hours from 1-12 twice for day and nighttime hours, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds. Blued steel Breguet hands. 50 mm. matte gilt, Lepine caliber, standing barrel, jeweled cylinder escapement, gold three-arm balance wheel, flat blued steel balance spring, polished steel endplate, index regulator. Dial signed, cuvette signed Avon Horloger A Apt. Diam. 58 mm. Notes This watch is a very rare example of a 24-hour watch with numerals 1-12 in each half of the dial. The hour hand only makes one revolution every 24 hours instead of every 12 hours.
