Very fine and extremely rare, 8-day going, 14K pink gold, keyless pocket watch with power-reserve indication. Four-body, bassine, polished. Hinged pink gilt-metal cuvette. Brushed silvered with applied pink gold faceted baton indexes, outer painted minute divisions, subsidiary seconds, powerreserve indication at 12. Pink gold dauphine hands. Cal. 19.41, 19’’’, matte gilt, half-plate, 19 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, micrometer regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 50 mm Notes The present watch is extremely beautiful, the pink gold case and the dial and hand combination with applied pink gold indexes and dauphine hands is usually only found on the highest grade watches of the great watch houses. This is only the second example of the Longines 8-day pocket watch, Cal. 19.41, to appear at auction and by far the most attractive of the two.
