Very fine and rare 18K gold and painted on enamel pocket watch Two-body, Louis XVI, the bezel with blue enamel, concealed hinge, the back panel enameled with a finely painted scene of a maiden and her lover in classical dress, surrounded by a gold engraved floral decoration set with pearls surmounted by a white enamel cartouche with a flower bouquet, outer blue guilloche enamel decorated border. White enamel with upright Roman numerals, outer minute divisions. Gold hour and minute hands. 41 mm., hinged gilt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, micrometric potence adjustment, plain gilt brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring, engraved gilt brass continental cock with polished steel end-piece, silver regulation disc. Dial and movement signed. Diam. 50 mm.
