Cloisonne Enamel Stars in the Sky Imhof, Swiss, No. 767959. Made circa 1960. A fine and very rare, 8-day going brass and cloisonné enamel desk clock. To be sold without reserve Square brass, brushed and polished, resting on four tapered circular feet. Blue cloisonné, concave center representing the night sky with gold stars and geometric patterns at the four corners, applied silvered chapter ring with applied gilt baton indexes and Roman quarter-hour numerals. Gilt baton and circle hands mounted on a brass and enamel globe representing the sun. Rhodium-plated, 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, flat balance spring. Dial signed. Dim. 12 x 12 cm.
