Very fine and rare, oversized, octagonal, self-winding, water-resistant, stainless steel wristwatch with date, round button chronograph, registers, tachometer and an Audemars Piguet stainless steel deployant clasp. Accompanied by the original fitted box, warranty, certificate, and instruction booklet. Three-body, polished and brushed, case back and bezel secured with eight hexagonal screws, screw-down crown, sapphire crystal. Black with checkerboard pattern, luminous Arabic steel indexes, 1/5th seconds track, outermost tachometer scale to 500 UPH, subsidiary dials for the seconds, the 12-hour with blue and red RB initials and multi-colored 30-minute registers, cyclops aperture for the date. Luminous white gold baton hands. Cal. 2226/ 2840, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 50 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, shock absorber, self-compensating flat balance spring, 21K gold rotor.
